Mediterranean
The Languedoc-Roussillon region of Southern France is located in a great arc around the Mediterranean stretching from the Cevennes as far as the Pyrenees Orientales neighbouring with Spain. Languedoc-Rousillon is a natural amphitheatre facing the Mediterranean, made up of three natural terraces formed by the mountains, the Causses and the plains, that slope down towards the sea.
The region offers wonderful beaches with warm seas, great skiing and other facilities, a mix of culture and a sun 300 days out of 365 days! The access is very easy from England thanks to the low cost companies (Carcassonne, Montpellier, Beziers, Perpignan). There is also the super fast TGV train which allows you to reach Paris in 3 hours.
